Sips x Gong

The Acid Eater graphic is based on the glass work of one of my favorite artists and good friend Mike Gong.  I was asked to translate his Acid Eater design into a hard edge graphic with my spin on it. Below is the 2nd colorway. These six layer t-shirts combining florescent and glow in the dark inks are available on my online store. The tab in each print has been hand embelished making each shirt a one of a kind. The photo on top is in daylight and below are the effects of the ink under a blacklight.

Gong Glass Custom

Before sending these out to Mike I had to take a couple photos of the Guilded x Glow In the Dark x Ultraviolet sensitive T-shirts we made for him. Mago and I both put in some of our best work to make these happen.

Soulsticks 2013

Rich contacted me the other day and told me that we have some boards to print. Like a dream come true we were guilding up some of the nicest decks to date. I'm gonna hold onto a handful of these to sell on my webstore coming soon. 

Canicas

Canicas is a Los Angeles based musical project involving a couple friends and I. We have been recording a ton of material that we soon hope to share with you. Here is a pic of us in the studio.

 

Rush

Visiting Brian was lots of fun, alway a pleasure to see what he's up to. He was installing a show in an apartment gallery, heres a peak at some of the work.

Above is me trying out a wood bed...The log pillow is surprisingly comfortable. 

Chicago Art Institute Museum

On our trip to Chicago Ana and I spent one full day getting lost inside and out of the amazing Art Institute Museum. What a great collection to witness, there is so much to see in and around the museum that you can easily spend an entire week there. Below are some photos I took of a few of my favorite pieces we saw.

 

It was also nice to see a large exhibit of glass paperweights in the museum. I was especially impressed by the presentation.

Ronnie Balls

Ronnie's officially part of the family. What a sweet nuckle head he is. I'll bet he's gonna love his presents.

Paintings

All of these works are still far from finished. They like being in this undefined state, they can go in many directions from here so I am not attached. I feel like the focus for these is the journey, painting over everything over and over. We'll see what happens in the end.

 

GTT Phantom

After nearly a nine month wait, here it is my own brand new 'raw' colored GTT Phantom! I couldnt have planned it better but my custom Blast Shield set up came on the exact same day....better get to work!!
